Why Fruit Should Stand Alone

Fresh fruits are best enjoyed on their own! According to Ayurveda, mixing fresh fruits with milk or yogurt can disturb digestion, leading to the formation of Ama (toxins). This may contribute to bloating, indigestion, skin flare-ups and seasonal allergies. For better gut health, enjoy fruits separately or wait at least an hour before consuming dairy.
